Sandy King

Singer/songwriter Sandy King has been on the Colorado music scene for more than 30 years as lead singer with various local bands such as the Legendary Nikators, Orphan Boy, Cinema, Record Time and High Priority . . .  as a solo original artist and with East & West . . . and as back-up vocalist at major events, including the Colorado Jam and People's Fair.

Her last CD, “PLAY” was well received and she is on to the next project with the first single release slated for June of 2024.  She still feels the need to expand and evolve as a songwriter, and create and perform music that allows her to share her feelings and experiences, and the thoughts and stories of others.  The last year was full of experiences that fueled a lot of the material that will be on the compilation EP coming out by Christmas.  As she says, “Sometimes the challenges in life bring out the best in our creativity.  I am so grateful for this gift to be able to write and play music--what a great outlet for expression!”

She has the power of versatility, and her new works will expand to include some bluesy feels and acoustic rock.  Her focus is on staying current while creating catchy tunes and relatable, thoughtful lyrics, all while showcasing her powerful, warm, passionate voice.
